The ECL headquarters is pleased to announce that a new format for ECL certificates will be introduced starting in June 2023. This updated design offers advanced security features, such as watermarks, elements only visible under UV light, an iris print, and a guilloche pattern frame. Additionally, the ECL certificates include a QR code that provides confirmation of the certificate’s authenticity when scanned. Furthermore, there is still the option to validate certificates using the following link: https://exam.eclexam.eu/validate/.
The new ECL certificates in German and English are monolingual and provide information about the examination results in the target language. Certificates for other languages are bilingual and include examination results in both the target language and English. On the back of the certificate, there is a brief description of the language competencies demonstrated at the corresponding proficiency level.
For security reasons, sample certificates will not be published on the ECL website. However, they can be sent to institutions, authorities, and offices when requested. If you are interested in viewing a sample certificate and can demonstrate such a need, please contact the ECL headquarters (ecl.international@eclexam.eu) to receive further information and discuss your request.
